1. Check that all equipment is in place
Double-check that you have the correct number of iPads, chargers, terminals, cables, stands, and printers as ordered. Inspect the equipment for any damages.
2. Set up the stations
All equipment is labeled per station. Gather the equipment according to the numbers they are labeled with. Same number = same station.
3. Turn on the iPad and log in
Turn on the iPad and log in to the Favrit app with the username and password provided via email.
4. Connect the printer and cash drawer:
Connect the printer/cash drawer to power and then to the iPad (ensure that the iPad charges through the printer/cash drawer). Click on "Hardware" and "Connect to new hardware." Choose the printer/cash drawer that appears and select the correct placement (printer ID). Test the printer by pressing "Print test ticket."
5. Test terminals
Navigate back to ePOS. "Sell" a product and choose one of the terminals as the payment solution.
6. Arrange the equipment:
Mount the iPad on the stand and arrange the printer, terminals, and cash drawer as desired. Good luck with your sales! Contact Favrit support if you have any questions about the process.
